00:00:00:05 - 00:00:23:23

Luna

Okay, sweet friends, this is a part two of a three part segment on love, Work and then Sexy Updates. Since we have an original episode with Gigi the goddess aka Goddess Goddess aka Gigi. So my incredible friend who is not only a goddess but also a writer for Cosmo, an incredible erotic artist filmmaker, my favorite model in the whole wide world, and just a beautiful performer musician.

00:00:23:23 - 00:00:47:14

Luna

She just channeled songs like you do so much in your work as an artist and creative being. I am so excited to talk to you about my favorite thing. My hardest thing were, So start off by telling us to bridge from the conversation we just had in part one about love. What do you love about your work?

00:00:47:14 - 00:00:55:13

Luna

And get specific so you can go into the different parts. But just like feelings, just wherever you want to go with that question, what do you love about your work?

00:00:55:13 - 00:01:00:07

GG

Oh, okay. First of all, I love working from home.

00:01:00:09 - 00:01:02:16

Luna

Oh, okay. So you're good introvert.

00:01:02:16 - 00:01:12:09

GG

Yeah. I'm so good at it. I'm good with it. I love co-working days with friends like we've done sometimes a body. Dublin. Yeah, we're good at this. Yeah.

00:01:12:14 - 00:01:37:20

Luna

You're one of the few people on earth that I've been like, okay, we can try it. Because I'm pretty guarded. Yeah. My early experiences, especially with love them actors in Los Angeles. But those, those like get together rehearsal groups like accountability. Let's work on our marketing. They never did. They would get together and then complain. But when I went when I the last time that you and I co worked, we sat down and you were like and it was totally double Scorpio.

00:01:37:20 - 00:01:54:07

Luna

Aries like I was like I feel it. And it was so nice for me to literally just sit behind you and was like staring at your ass, or were you 90 degrees anyway? Oh yeah. I'm always imagining staring at your ass, but, because she is the could ask goddess, but I felt so glad that we could actually just focus together.

00:01:54:07 - 00:01:55:08

Luna

I love that.

00:01:55:08 - 00:01:57:03

GG

I'm so helpful.

00:01:57:05 - 00:01:58:12

Luna

Co-working.

00:01:58:14 - 00:02:26:07

GG

Co-working. I love the feeling when I'm writing a piece and I crack it because it's never. While I will say I'm a pretty good first draft writer, it's never like done on the first draft. And especially because I'm expanding like within the magazine. I've now written for a lot of different sections and types of writing, but beyond storytelling, because my background is all scripts, film storytelling.

00:02:26:09 - 00:02:45:21

GG

So like cracking the new art form, the, the going from like, you know, there's a certain day where I have to close the computer down and it is not done. And usually I tell myself, like there's words on the page, they're not good, but there's words on the page. Then to the moment when I get back in there the next day or two and like, I crack it and I'm like, I feel good about it.

00:02:45:21 - 00:02:47:18

GG

Oh, there's nothing like that feel.

00:02:47:18 - 00:02:50:06

Luna

It's so good. That's so good.

00:02:50:06 - 00:03:07:22

GG

Yeah. It's so satisfying when you find the right words, when they come to you and you're like, oh, it makes sense, I'm hitting it. And sometimes I even surprise myself where I, where I thought the words on the page weren't so good. And I go back to read and I'm like, wait, we can work with this. This is like, yeah, yeah, love that feeling.

00:03:08:00 - 00:03:12:07

GG

There's so much I love about work because I'm like, you, I'm so career driven.

00:03:12:07 - 00:03:20:18

Luna

I know, I also forgot to say I said incredible performer, but musical improv, like, you're a genius song maker up here on the spot. And that's one of my favorite things to do with you.

00:03:20:18 - 00:03:35:05

GG

I know we love making up little jingles. We love making up songs. We've done a lot of them together. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that's something I love, man. I don't know what happens there because I, it's still a mystery to me how I can even do that. You're an.

00:03:35:06 - 00:03:45:20

Luna

Open channel. It's like you just thank you, and then it just comes through. And then I get videos of juju being like, new song alert. And it's just like a holy for me. Yeah. It's like, whoa, whoa.

00:03:45:22 - 00:03:53:16

GG

And then I love variety. I do like thank you for listing all the things I do and make.

00:03:53:16 - 00:04:08:05

Luna

Me feel really them is probably not comprehensive. Well, because also collage, because I also like mixed media art, because, yeah, I'm like in clothes. The way that you dress itself is an art form that I say model. You are my favorite model. Muse. Yeah. Okay. But yeah, yeah.

00:04:08:05 - 00:04:31:22

GG

So like to that point, something I love is, is frickin variety. I don't I'm so glad I quit my last 9 to 5 during the pandemic and took that leap of faith, which was like, on paper, extremely irresponsible because I had no savings, no backup plan, no safety net, and quit my only income during a pandemic. I was just like, I was just like Aries Moon, where we gotta get out of here.

00:04:32:00 - 00:04:32:16

Luna

Yeah.

00:04:32:18 - 00:04:50:23

GG

Well it's thrilling. I took that leap of faith, and, and I was like. Because it was a soul sucking office type job. And so. Yeah, what I love now is that ever since then, I held strong. And I made it fucking work, even in the scary times, because I just refuse to do jobs I don't love anymore.

00:04:50:23 - 00:04:58:17

GG

Yeah, I just put my foot down with myself. I was like, no, we're going to make money from things that are creative because I love being creative.

00:04:58:17 - 00:04:59:18

Luna

Yep. Yeah.

00:04:59:20 - 00:05:01:14

GG

Oh no. I'm held out until I did.

00:05:01:14 - 00:05:14:14

Luna

I don't know if I knew that specific piece of your story, because I had a very similar moment, like after producing with the pickup artists, where I was like, I can't give my life energy to this. What am I doing? Yeah, I'm like, when I like, shaved my head, went to South America and was having my like walkabout.

00:05:14:14 - 00:05:37:05

Luna

I was like, okay, I got to do something I care about. I gotta do something. If I'm making money, I gotta, like, help people in ways that feel good or at least help myself. But I, you know, I'm a creature of service. I'm of service to hopefully to my higher self, of service to other people. And so that's how I like landed on photography, you know, and that that's been kind of I keep trying to quit it, but I can't because it's, it's too fun to collaborate with sexy people.

00:05:37:05 - 00:05:46:09

Luna

But do you feel comfortable saying and maybe work this into your work origin story, like what got you to that point of like, fuck it, I'm done. I need to do things I love?

00:05:46:09 - 00:06:15:08

GG

Oh yeah. I mean, it was really obviously after my sexual assault, which I had had sexual assault and relationships, a plethora like this was a stranger. And so there was a court case and a like. So it was very officially like, you know, dealt with where I finally got trauma therapy and stuff. So, yeah, it was, it was that feeling got the gifts of trauma, of seeing your life flashed before your eyes and realizing, who the hell am I living my life for?

00:06:15:08 - 00:06:43:20

GG

And when the answer wasn't me, that made those decisions way easier. It was like, okay, do not doing OnlyFans because of my parents religion's ideals, not talking about sex work publicly because of the same thing. Doing this, the my my last job I quit was, I was, office manager for a business that sold and bought land and doing organizational systems for them, like coming up with it just the furthest from creative, like.

00:06:43:22 - 00:06:45:00

GG

Yeah.

00:06:45:02 - 00:06:47:17

Luna

And also you worked at a yoga studio cleaning.

00:06:47:17 - 00:07:13:18

GG

Oh, yeah. For actually not even briefly over a years, cleaning toilets and sweaty yoga mats like, I so yeah, the trauma made it really easy to look at everything and make changes because once you thought you're already going to die, you're kind of like playing with house money. So you're like, well, if I'm still here, I might as well do it the way I fucking want now.

00:07:13:19 - 00:07:30:05

GG

Yeah. And so it made it easier to take the leap of faith. Yeah. And also it's like, okay, quitting a job versus healing from a sexual assault. It's just like everything's a little easier when you deal with a life or death thing. Because it's like okay, it's not life or death.

00:07:30:07 - 00:07:44:03

Luna

What do you tell people or like do you encounter people that are like, I just can't because of money. Like I'm, I imagine you can't just be like, well I had a trauma and it opened my eye. Like to tell them you just meet them where they're at their own journey and you kind of handle that.

00:07:44:03 - 00:07:56:20

GG

That's hard for me because I, so far along in the therapy journey and I am. So I don't know if you believe in human design, the type of astrology or whatever, but like, I'm a reflector, which is the rare type.

00:07:56:20 - 00:07:58:15

Luna

That I'm a manifesting generator.

00:07:58:17 - 00:08:20:17

GG

Yeah, yeah. Where I'm very open channels to like, feeling people. And so anyways, when I interact with people, I feel that I see their potential, like really clearly. And so when they're not living up to that, it's very frustrating and like, almost like a disappointment feeling to me. So it can be it can be kind of like, I want to grab people who say that, who say they're too scared and just be like, no, you can do it.

00:08:20:18 - 00:08:27:00

GG

Yeah, but I've learned that, like, I can't increase people's timelines. I can't make them do it any faster. I know we.

00:08:27:00 - 00:08:29:08

Luna

Can't hit fast forward on people, unfortunately.

00:08:29:09 - 00:08:33:12

GG

It's so sad. I really wish I could. I want to just see the end result, you.

00:08:33:12 - 00:08:36:16

Luna

Know, but that's but that's the human growth of. I'm learning to not control them.

00:08:36:16 - 00:08:57:05

GG

Yes, definitely. Letting go of control has been my life journey and it's ongoing. But I do try to be I do try to like, meet them where they're at and sneakily give encouragement, like, kind of, validate whatever they're feeling of all that is scary. Maybe you can, you know. Yeah. Like a little.

00:08:57:07 - 00:08:58:04

Luna

I wonder if.

00:08:58:04 - 00:09:19:12

GG

Yeah, I wonder, or like. Oh, well, it might, it might work that way, or it might work this way and just give like, gentle I. Yeah. Basically I like to give people, like a seedling at least of an idea that a different reality is possible because so many people walk around thinking, I'm in this reality, I'm stuck.

00:09:19:16 - 00:09:34:06

Luna

I still get stuck in that group sometimes and you help pull me out. Or even just witnessing you helps pull me out because it because it can feel so like this is the way that it is. And that's it. When I get stuck on the, like the how instead of the what and the why.

00:09:34:08 - 00:09:54:01

GG

Actually, that's such a good thing that helped me in my journey was my sister was like, you can't worry about the how anymore. You just. And she gave me an assignment. She was like, because it was control. Yeah. It was, back when I was really struggling with my money and my lack stuff, and she was like, for three days, you're not allowed to figure out how this is going to work out, like with quitting the job or whatever.

00:09:54:03 - 00:10:10:16

GG

You're not even allowed to think about it. If it comes up, you just say, oh, I'm, I'm on a I have a thing. I can't do that for three days. Like, I can't worry about that. And what I ended up seeing was so was an experiment and trust. By the end of the three days, like pieces were already starting to fall into place that were showing me the how.

00:10:10:18 - 00:10:18:00

GG

Like I'm witnessing the how constantly. I don't I don't make the how exactly, but I'm witnessing it because.

00:10:18:00 - 00:10:42:12

Luna

You're willing to trust. And so then that does create your experience. Oh my gosh, I've told you the thing about my trainer slash social coach who's helping me figure out people things. Jerry, first life happens to us, then life happens for us, then life happens from us. And it sounds like just doing the trust experiment allowed you to do the life happens from me creation like co-creation with the universe.

00:10:42:12 - 00:10:45:21

Luna

Yeah, because you were willing to let go of control and just witnessing.

00:10:45:21 - 00:11:02:16

GG

Yeah. And I feel like it definitely took a long time in the life happens for me for a phase of, of of actually even even being open to that idea because originally I think I had such negative self beliefs and such like a mistrust that I wouldn't have even agreed with that of like, no, it's it's happening to me.

00:11:02:16 - 00:11:09:20

Luna

You know, like, no, you're not seeing the society teaches us so that we're like stuff and get my own little drones, you know?

00:11:09:20 - 00:11:23:03

GG

Yeah, yeah. Oh, existential kink is something that really opened that to that book. Yeah. Huge gets you to take accountability for your life and gets you to realize you're the common denominator in the patterns. And what can you change internally to change the result.

00:11:23:06 - 00:11:49:02

Luna

Yeah. And it's tricky because I've definitely recommended the book Existential Kink by Carolyn Elliot is what we're talking about here. And it's a very specific frame where when I've recommended to people who are not ready for those ideas, they're like, how dare you, victim blame me? And I'm like, no, it's not that. It's about seeing our own agency and recognizing for me in these patterns, I'm like, okay, I'm a secret other woman over and over and over again, even when I think I'm solving that pattern.

00:11:49:02 - 00:12:04:05

Luna

So when I get honest with myself about like, the payoff that that gets, like, I don't actually have any expectations and nobody can get mad at me. I don't have to bring a partner around anywhere and have people criticize them or criticize me or tell, you know, and so so that's kind of what that and for work I mean.

00:12:04:05 - 00:12:06:03

Luna

Yeah. Wait, so that helped you?

00:12:06:05 - 00:12:23:09

GG

That helped me get to the point of of being like, I'm going to do work that I love. Yeah. Yeah. Because I thought I used to think, oh, I have to do this work of cleaning the sweaty yoga mats. It's the only option. It's the only way to get money. Like, now I see it totally differently.

00:12:23:11 - 00:12:39:19

Luna

And your life is completely different from that. Like, amazing. It's crazy. Details of Gigi's origin story is in a much earlier episode. Kimberly is going to put the link in the description below. What about like, just the feeling inside of you? Like, do you remember being like.

00:12:39:20 - 00:12:40:04

GG

Oh, I'm.

00:12:40:04 - 00:12:41:06

Luna

Drawn to this.

00:12:41:06 - 00:12:56:04

GG

And I was like, oh, I have to get out of Ohio. I don't know how I knew that, but the feeling was so strong. I already by my fifth or sixth grade, I was already petitioning my parents to send me away to this other school in Ohio. Just I just was like, this cannot be at this small town.

00:12:56:04 - 00:13:25:22

GG

Can not be it. Somehow I knew there was more. And I had like a really strong impulse to get the fuck out of there. It felt really like a bubble that I needed to break free from. And then getting to New York and getting to like, all this diversity and like, culture and just feeling like a mini version of the world melting pot in New York, like, opened it up and then being pulled to Los Angeles, I honestly feel like I was pulled to Los Angeles in the, you know, like a vain way of I just really wanted fame.

00:13:25:22 - 00:13:36:09

GG

I thought at that age I thought, like, I'm going to be a movie star. That's what's going to fix everything. Because when I'm famous that I'm loved and money will be there.

00:13:36:10 - 00:13:38:23

Luna

I feel like that's fed to our generation. Hard core.

00:13:39:02 - 00:13:50:09

GG

Yeah, I wanted to be famous, so. But now I'm now I'm actually like in therapy to figure it out. I think I can do all of my missions without the big spotlight and that might be great. Yeah, I might be actually perfect for an introvert like me.

00:13:50:10 - 00:13:56:22

Luna

Yeah, yeah. Or like the normal amount of spotlight that all of us living on the internet. Yeah. Could experience. Yeah, yeah.

00:13:57:02 - 00:14:01:19

GG

But not like really list like the dream used to be like, I want to be Angelina Jolie version, you know.

00:14:01:20 - 00:14:22:15

Luna

Like then also that doesn't exist anymore. And everything is so niched down, like, there is no one big mainstream network anything. What about work projects either. Something you've gotten to do that you fucking were like yes nailed it. Love that. Good experience and or something you're looking forward to.

00:14:22:15 - 00:14:50:12

GG

Yes. Okay. Well my journey with Cosmo yeah has been like such a fruition and dream come true and manifestation, because it started years ago with like one single article I wrote. But it's so cool because I always had the belief that, like, I could be a columnist. And so I made my own column. I made like a nine page document with three sample articles of like what my version of a cosmopolitan column would be.

00:14:50:14 - 00:15:03:16

GG

And it's so crazy that like, it took years. But then I finally got in again with Cosmo to to where I am a regular, consistent contributor. Like I work for them, like I work for them as much as I want, as often as I want.

00:15:03:18 - 00:15:05:11

Luna

Online and in print.

00:15:05:12 - 00:15:29:18

GG

Yes, Holy shit, getting printed. I manifested that by telling myself, like, and the universe or whatever, I was like, I just want to be in print before print dies because it is dying. It is dying. Oh yeah. Even even the magazine we've gone from when I started monthly issues to about a year in, we were down to bi monthly and now it is quarterly.

00:15:29:18 - 00:15:32:21

GG

It is one per season gets printed.

00:15:32:23 - 00:15:35:12

Luna

I didn't realize it just happening.

00:15:35:12 - 00:15:56:21

GG

So like, yeah, I was like, I just want to be in print before print dies. And I've gotten to be printed many times over yet. So I like, so that's something that feels really fucking good. And it's so cool to hear from strangers on the internet who read the pieces, and it changed something for them. It's just like, yeah, God, I love fulfilling my purpose.

00:15:56:21 - 00:15:58:18

GG

Like, yeah, oh, it makes me feel so good.

00:15:58:18 - 00:16:01:23

Luna

And helping other people fulfill theirs and experience pleasure.

00:16:02:00 - 00:16:19:03

GG

All about that. All about helping people feel better because it's like God, it's already hard enough if we can just feel a little bit good along the way, like, yeah, this fucking roller coaster. And then something I am super looking forward to is twofold. The new version of my deck that the sexiest deck alive. Oh, it's so good.

00:16:19:03 - 00:16:28:08

GG

Oh, the new version. It's like, has ten new cards. The, the it has a booklet to go along with the cards like. Yeah, yeah. So you can look up, you know, the booklet.

00:16:28:08 - 00:16:28:16

Luna

Yeah.

00:16:28:16 - 00:16:31:12

GG

And I took the words off the card, into the book. So it's more.

00:16:31:12 - 00:16:33:02

Luna

Beautiful. Yeah. Like ooh.

00:16:33:04 - 00:16:54:18

GG

So the art can, the collages can stand on their own. So that's really exciting and ongoing. And I don't have a timeline, but it's going to be divine timing when it gets finished. And then, I'm writing a TV show. I have a pilot I'm selling around town, so I won't say too much more about that, except that it's completely inspired by you and me and our journey.

00:16:54:20 - 00:16:56:19

Luna

I can't wait for it to come.

00:16:56:19 - 00:16:57:02

GG

To.

00:16:57:02 - 00:17:10:04

Luna

Fruition. And can I say that I've seen just a little teaser trailer that you created as a filmmaker cut together, and it's so good. I'm biased. I'm in it a little bit, but like, oh my God, you're so good. You have such good weather, I make.

00:17:10:05 - 00:17:16:10

GG

It, it's so good. You're the you're the comedic relief and the beauty of it, it's amazing.

00:17:16:12 - 00:17:17:03

Luna

Unhittable.

00:17:17:06 - 00:17:47:21

GG

Yeah. So that I it's really been a cool journey with that too, because, in therapy, working on my whole, like, chasing fame now realizing that's not my motivator anymore. And may maybe even not what I want that has made it interesting. Was selling a TV show like, because I've been doing this to that project the whole time, but now that I have a different therapeutic lens, I'm like going back to my later drafts, writing the pilot in a totally different way.

00:17:47:21 - 00:17:48:22

GG

So it's exciting.

00:17:49:00 - 00:18:07:06

Luna

That can only help the work I feel like, because and also just energetically, I know anytime I'm like, hands off about something like, I don't know if this podcast is going to keep going. I don't yeah, I'm open to the unfolding, you know, and that helps me make more clear headed decisions that are in the best interest of the project.

00:18:07:06 - 00:18:13:01

GG

I really is true. When you grip very tightly, it's just difficult to manifest. Yeah, my hands aren't open to receive.

00:18:13:03 - 00:18:20:01

Luna

Yeah. The tiny little clues. Yeah, yeah. And I because I'm too busy being crinkled up in a little bit.

00:18:20:02 - 00:18:21:03

GG

Yeah.

00:18:21:05 - 00:18:29:04

Luna

So is there anything else that you want to do? Any other dream projects coming true? I mean, you're manifesting your dream projects, but is there anything else there?

00:18:29:06 - 00:18:51:00

GG

I just want to keep making these ripple effects like I, I something that's so cool of healing my money stuff is that I get to use it as a tool now and, like, help my family and my friends succeed. Like literally giving money, like just spreading money is fucking cool. Like, so it almost doesn't feel like work.

GG

But that is something I'm excited about, of just continuing my ripple effect to be like bigger and better and more people that I can help and, make this world a little better. Fuck, yeah. Yeah.

Luna

If you never had to worry about money again. Now we live in the utopia where we've solved the money issue. Yes, but obviously humans still need to feel purposeful. How do you imagine you would spend your time the same?

00:19:16:19 - 00:19:38:02

GG

Which is, like, such a fucking good feeling. Yeah, yeah. I remember my therapist asking that question a long time ago and me crying and saying, because it was not when I had as much money stuff figured out. Yeah. And me crying and being like, if there was, if that was no issue, I would just be painting 20ft murals and like helping women and others, anyone marginalized like feel better and have a better time.

00:19:38:02 - 00:19:43:06

GG

And it's like, I'm basically doing that already. Yeah. So it's the same.

00:19:43:10 - 00:19:43:23

Luna

I fucking like.

00:19:43:23 - 00:19:45:18

GG

The same and more.

00:19:45:20 - 00:19:49:20

Luna

I want to do more dancing on a dental theme around a bonfire. Oh.

00:19:49:22 - 00:19:50:16

GG

Pole dancing.

00:19:50:16 - 00:20:00:06

Luna

I want to do dance. Pole dancing. All of it. Beautiful. Oh, yeah. Okay. How about sex? Can we transition to sex? Oh, yeah. Okay. That's all we've.

00:20:00:06 - 00:20:00:15

GG

Been waiting.

00:20:00:15 - 00:20:02:06

Luna

For. Like it? I mean, it's our favorite.

00:20:02:06 - 00:20:03:01

GG

It's it's our favorite.

00:20:03:01 - 00:20:04:19

Luna

We've been teasing. We've been leading up to it.
